10 by 10 is a variety night giving ten selected entertainers the chance to take the stage for a ten minute performance of their choosing. Audience members will enjoy storytelling, magic, comedy, improv, music, and other forms of entertainment at this ever changing event. Admission is FREE!
We are interested in short live theatre pieces, improv, comedy, magic, dance, monologues, music, and anything else you think might entertain an audience. Each month, ten performers will be selected to perform a 10-minute piece. All types of art forms are accepted and considered; however, there are some restrictions on live music. Performers are responsible for their own property.

Thursdays@Newhall’s 10 by 10 variety show continues to amuse and entertain attendees month after month. This free evening of entertainment is one you won’t want to miss.
MAGIC | Chris Lopez
Chris started performing magic at the age of seven and has been entertaining audiences for over 30 years. He has won seven international magic awards and has headlined shows across the United States, Canada and Italy.
COMEDY | Chris Cope
Chris has appeared on “The Jimmy Kimmel Show,” “Laughs on Fox,” “Tosh.0” and “Grey’s Anatomy”. His Southern charm isn’t limited to stage and screen, He has just released his first full length comedy album, “White Trash Super Computer”, which debuted in the Top 10 on Amazon.com.
MUSIC | Leah Judge
Leah is a singer-songwriter based in Chicago, Illinois. Her style infuses baroque pop piano with a touch of folk.
COMEDY | Samantha Hale
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Samantha is following in the comedic footsteps of her grandfather, Alan Hale Jr., best known as The Skipper from “Gilligan’s Island.” With her unique outlook on life, Samantha likes to push boundaries with her material.
STORYTELLING | Alan Salazar
Alan is not only a storyteller, he is a Native American consultant/monitor, a spiritual adviser, a traditional paddler of Chumash canoes and more. His family has traced their ancestry to the Chumash village of Ta’apu, now known as Simi Valley and the Tataviam village of Pi’ing near Castaic.
COMEDY | John Wynn
John was named New Times’ Best Comic in Miami, and finished in third place in the 2017 World Series of Comedy. John was also a 2018 semi-finalist for NBC’s Stand-Up for Diversity.
